Our Story

My name is Sarah, and I'm Noah's mom.

Noah is eight years old. Three years ago, his father walked out, and the house got very quiet. Noah stopped talking as much. He stopped laughing the way he used to. But Milo never left his side.

Milo is our golden retriever. He's slept at the foot of Noah's bed every night since Noah was five. Every morning, Milo pads down the hallway and waits by Noah's door until he wakes up. On the hard days — and there were a lot of them — Milo was the one who got Noah through it. Not me. Milo.

Fourteen days ago, our vet said the word lymphoma.

It's an aggressive cancer. Without surgery, Milo won't make it. The surgery costs $7,500 — money I don't have sitting in a bank account. I work full-time. I've been saving what I can. But it isn't enough, not with the timeline we've been given.

So Noah and I started making bracelets together.

Every evening, at our kitchen table, we string beads by hand. Golden Hope Bracelets. It's not much — just two people trying to do something with their hands instead of sitting with the fear. But every bracelet we sell gets us a little closer to that surgery date.

When you order one, you're not just buying a bracelet. You're becoming part of the reason Milo gets to keep waiting by that door every morning. You're the reason an eight-year-old boy doesn't have to lose the one who never left.

We can't do this without people like you. Thank you for reading this far, and thank you, from both of us, for whatever you're able to do.
